theatre
operations
The theatre opened its very own venue, which led to a surge in admin and operational work. I help them out however needed, including budget management, funding applications, ticket sales, workflow and manuals creation, and other operational tasks.
Tallinn

Coordinated 160+ exhibitors, managed information exchange, solved current issues, designed and edited marketing materials, worked in Excel with client bases for direct marketing.
Hamburg
operations
service
Took the job to have somewhere to go outside of my home (office) and to practice some German. Besides from making a lot of coffee for the caffeine-hungry coworkers, the work is mostly admin tasks. But I'm very proud of a spreadsheet I scripted, that generates offer PDFs based on tickboxes, saves them in Drive and sends them out via e-mail with a push of one button.

exhibition
architecture
event production
Most challenging and interesting project so far, that combined all my interests – logistics, spatial design, building and technical setup. Worked together with the US-Greece curatorial team, 20+ artists and collectives from 16 different countries, and local partners, ensuring the exhibition was completed on time and within budget.

Major projects included a 6-day public sector Zoom training programme for 250+ people with 30+ speakers and 3 City Forum hackathons in Tartu, Viljandi and Tallinn.

Managed registration and accommodation for 220 international delegates, collaborating weekly with Italian and Estonian teams to ensure a successful conference. Our efforts were recognized with the 2022 Estonian Cultural Endowment award for event organization.
Tallinn
service
operations
Had my first proper experience of management and had to conduct my first hirings – I was probably more nervous than the interviewee. Was in charge of event bookings and menu offers, employee work schedules, bar orders. Also learned a lot about the importance of proper working agreements, as the restaurant went bankrupt with owing me quite a lot.

Planned and executed marketing activities, managed social media channels, organised university events, including Open Days and EKA 105 Gala, designed marketing materials based on set CVI. Worked in a dream-team (Anna, Mart) – we even won a Team of the Year award in 2019.

Started with selling tickets at the door and ended up leading the inner processes of the club. Made them a yearly budget, wrote a lot of funding applications which brought in ca 100 000€ of funding in three years, implemented a proper file management system and was in charge of marketing and communication for 120+ events a year.

Volunteered for the festival for a year or two, turned 18, moved out and needed a real paying job. Went to ask for it and got it. Helped them with whatever needed to be one, including managing ticket sales, wrote applications and reports for funding, produced smaller venue concerts, hosted international bands, compiled and edited marketing texts and supervised a team of 100+ volunteers.

- I’ve written a bunch of Excel scripts with the help of Google, and lately ChatGPT, to make my spreadsheets more functional and fancy.
- I’ve managed a restaurant in Tallinn, where I got to dip my toe into leading a team and had the first experience of conducting hiring interviews.
- This year I got to try a bit of art direction for a bakery photoshoot.
- I won a middle school fashion show together with a classmate, our collection was all moss green – my favourite color! Obviously I know how to sew and have made some clothes for myself every once in a while since.
- I’ve done some gigs in a church as an organ player, including many Sunday services, a bunch of weddings, a christening and a funeral.
- I was an avid debater in middle school, organised an international debate tournament for 4 years (we had over 100 participants, even as far as from China!) and helped out also other tournaments as a Tournament Director for some years.
- This fall I started a bar at my friends theatre – curated the menu, organised deliveries, bought all the tools and even made a technical drawing for the building of the bar counter.
- For 3 years I managed an 18-people big band, our biggest achievement was the release of their debut album and the following tour in Estonia.
- I’ve done a bunch of design stuff. The school newspaper needed a designer so I self-taught myself Indesign, and have been doing ocassional design projects ever since.
- And in between and during all of this, I’ve also worked a bunch in bars and restaurants as a waitress, bar manager and barista. So yes, I can make a pretty mean cappuccino, but the best latte art I can manage is still just a heart.
